Making Goals!

Wow! After reviewing how much time is left until the marathon, last week I calculated that I need to add 1.5 miles to my practice runs every week in order to have the endurance and strength to run most of the marathon. I am reaching my goal with some pain… Tonight, I just ran 7.61 miles, in which I added 1.62 miles over my run last Tuesday of 5.99 miles. Wish me luck and pain free runs as I push to my next goal! Thanks for the post Nicholas. Personally I follow the 10% rule when training for a marathon. That means with my marathon training schedule I increase my mileage by a maximum of 10% in any given week. Hope that helps
